Submissions are now open for the Annual Chapbook Contest hosted by the South Dakota State Poetry Society! From February 15 to May 1, poets are invited to submit their work for a chance to be published.

The winner of the chapbook contest receives publication by SDSPS and author copies, and the chapbook is typically debuted at the annual South Dakota Festival of Books. Copies are sent to SDSPS members as part of their membership benefits, and additional copies are available for purchase.

Please ensure your submissions adhere to the guidelines available on Submittable, as entries not following these will be disqualified. If you are a member of SDSPS, the fee is $15; if you are not a member, the fee is $20.
