Join us for Poetry on the Road in Mobridge.

Poetry on the Road is a series of two-hour events held throughout South Dakota to help foster the creation and appreciation of poetry. The gatherings are supported by the South Dakota State Poetry Society (SDSPS), the South Dakota Humanities Council and many local sponsors.

Free and open to the public, each event features poetry readings from the South Dakota Poet Laureate, Bruce Roseland, and other SDSPS member poets. There is also an open mic portion, where attendees can sign up to read their own original poems if they wish. All are welcome—to participate or just to listen.
